Stephen Elliott

Stephen Elliott, 62, of Newcomerstown, died Thursday, January 21, 2016

A son of the late Leroy and Eileen (Rife) Elliott, Stephen was born April 8, 1953 at Dover, Ohio.

Stephen was a longtime truck driver who had a never give up attitude.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn (Miller) Elliott; his children, Jackie (Hoss) Robinson of Port Washington, John Elliott of Newcomerstown, Stephanie Elliott of Cambridge, Daniel Wise of Coshocton and Megan (Nathan) Gopp of Strasburg; 11 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a sister, Diane Elliott and a brother, Leroy (Tanya) Elliott.

Stephen was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Vernon and Bruce Elliott.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2016 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia.  A memorial service celebrating Stephen’s life will follow at 4 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Jim Reed officiating.  A reception will be held in the Geib Family Center at New Philadelphia following the service.
