Shirley L. Miller, age 83, of Magnolia passed away Saturday, January 31, 2026, in Ohio’s Hospice Truman House, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in her family home in Dellroy, on August 4, 1942, Shirley was a daughter of the late Ernest and Marion L. (Baxter) Lewis. On June 5, 1970, she married Clarence C. Miller and together they enjoyed 50 years of marriage before his passing on October 12, 2020.
Shirley loved reading. She also loved to call her family and to go shopping any chance that she could. Being with her family was her greatest pastime. She was also known to enjoy ice cream and play with her dog Peanut.
She is survived by her daughters, Rebecca (Brian) Wilson of Magnolia, and Kimberly (Erich) Wilson of Midvale; grandchildren, Laryssa (Derek) Truman, Andrew Sears-Miller, Tiana Miller, Shirley (Harley) Robinson, Jonathan Sears, and Erich Wilson, Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Mila Truman, Nova Robinson, Ellie Robinson, and one great-granddaughter on the way.
In addition to her parents and husband, Shirley was preceded in death by an infant son, Clarence C. Miller III; brother, Ernest P. Lewis; and sister, Ruby McNutt.
In keeping with Shirley’s wishes cremation care has been entrusted to the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home and Crematory.
