Shirley Kay (Rader) Brown, age 62, of Dover, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2026 in New Philadelphia Healthcare after a period of declining health.

Born in Union Hospital at Dover on July 29, 1964, Shirley was a daughter of the late Charles and Alma (Menges) Rader.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Kenneth Brown, whom she married on September 3, 1991, her children, Joshua Rader and Nicole (fiancé Brian Hampton) Shaffer; granddaughter, Olivia Shaffer; sister, Roberta (Terry) Haney; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Shirly was preceded in death by brothers, Jeff, Jerry, Ron, and Chuck Rader; and a sister, Phyllis Rader.

In keeping with Shirley’s wishes cremation care has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
