Sandra Lou Garbrandt, age 80, a resident of Tuscarawas and a longtime resident of Dennison, died peacefully, Monday, October 26, 2026, in Hennis Care Center at Dover, under the care of Care Team Hospice, following a period of declining health.

Born in Dennison, Ohio on October 19, 1946, Sandi was the daughter of the late John Caswell, Jr. and Mary Lou Russell Otto. She attended New Philadelphia High School.

Professionally, Sandi was employed by the former Big Wheel at Uhrichsville, Walmart at New Philadelphia and later Gradall at New Philadelphia. She was an avid animal lover who cared deeply for her cats and beloved dog, Presley. She found joy in working crossword and word search puzzles and never passed down an opportunity spend time with her family and grandchildren or listen to her favorite artist, Elvis Presley.

Sandi will be missed by her family that includes her son, Ron Garbrandt of Dennison, her former daughter-in-law, Hallie Nielson; her daughter, Krista (Dan Patterson) Lindon of Tuscarawas; grandchildren, Logan (Andrew) Spencer, Griffin Garbrandt, Kailee Lindon, Kamree (Dillon Cerena) Lindon, and Jaren (Jordyn Braun) Lindon; and five great-grandchildren, Hayden, Hudsyn, Garren, Gavin, and Kyree.

In honoring Sandi’s wishes, cremation will take place with a celebration of life to be announced at a later date. The Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia is handling arrangements.
