Sally Jeandervin

May 5, 1942 — January 28, 2026

New Philadelphia, Ohio

Sally Jeandervin, 83, of New Philadelphia, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at her daughter’s residence following a period of declining health.

A daughter of the late Francis and Marjorie (Rhodes) Romig, Sally was born May 5, 1942, in Dennison, Ohio.

Sally was a hard worker throughout her life. She spent many years at Marlowe’s Pharmacy, where she faithfully served in a variety of roles. Outside of work, Sally could often be found sewing. A gifted seamstress, she created everything from blankets and prom dresses to thousands of masks during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In her free time, Sally enjoyed mushroom hunting and traveling to the beach with her family. Family was central to her life, and she never missed the chance to enjoy a good Hallmark movie with a loved one.

Sally is survived by her children, Donald “Joey” Jeandervin of Texas, Marjorie (Mike) Rah of Massachusetts, and Summer (Aaron) Galigher of New Philadelphia; her grandchildren, Melynda Jeandervin, Kyle Galigher, Zach Galigher, and Jace Rah; her great-grandson, Oliver Jeandervin; and her cat, Charlie.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Grace Methodist Church, 524 W. 3rd St., Uhrichsville, Ohio 44683, beginning at 1:00 p.m. The family requests that memorial contributions in Sally’s name be directed to the church.
