Roy Slentz

Roy Slentz, 63, of Dover died January 29, 2024.

Born July 23, 1960 at Twin City Hospital in Dennison, he was the son of the late Carl Lemoine and Nellie Virginia Slentz. 

Roy was a 1979 graduate of Conotton Valley High School and after more than 30 years of service, he retired from Case Farm two months ago. He was also an active member of the Dover Fraternal Order of Eagles.

He enjoyed sending holidays with his sister, Betty and her husband, Scott and their family. Additionally, Roy was selfless, caring for others before himself. 

In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by his sister, Rita; brother, Robert; and nephew, Zachary Scott.

He is survived by two sisters, Virginia “Jenny” Bick and Betty (Gordon Scott) Riggle; and numerous nieces and nephews, Brien (Jessica) Renicker, Andrea (Matt) Goedel, Cameron Reynolds, Garrett (Shay Allen) Scott and Aidan Riggle.

In keeping with Roy’s wishes, there will be no public services.
