Roxie Pfeiffer

Roxie Jane Pfeiffer, age 90, of Port Washington, passed away January 12, 2026 in Riverside Manor at Newcomerstown.

Born February 23, 1935 near Port Washington, she was the daughter of the late Willis and Sarah (Arbogast) Sauser.

After graduating from Stone Creek High School in 1953, she married the love of her life, the late James Raymond “Jim” Pfeiffer, on September 1, 1955.

Professionally, Roxie served as a secretary with Production Credit Association for 12 years and Port Washington schools for 25 years. Roxie was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Port Washington.

Jim and Roxie greatly enjoyed traveling abroad, as Jim was a tour director for numerous international tours. The Pfeiffers were blessed to have met and traveled with hundreds of people on these tours.

She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Kathy (Mark) Huston of Port Washington; her grandchildren, Betsy (Tommy) Vosick of Port Washington and Kyle (Brian) Huston of Gahanna, O.; great-grandson, Beckett Huston; her sister, Linda (Fred) Lehman of Newcomerstown; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Wanda Sauser and Willis Sauser, Jr.

Cremation will be conducted through the care of Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory. Private inurnment will take place in Stone Creek Cemetery.
