Ronnie Allen Myers, age 61, of New Philadelphia, died late Saturday, December 27, 2025, in Aultman Hospital at Canton following a period of declining health after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Born on December 13, 1964, in Twin City Hospital at Dennison, Ron was a son of the late Melvin and Thelma Myers. He was a graduate of the former Indian Valley North High School and spent nearly a decade serving his country as a member of the United States Army. While serving, Ron spent a tour in Germany and worked as a diesel mechanic.

Upon his discharge, Ron began working with the late Gary Musick and ultimately formed the partnership of Myers and Musick Heating and Cooling, a company he now operated alongside his daughter, known today as Myers Heating and Cooling.

Ron was a lifelong Cincinnati Bengals fan. He raced at Midvale Speedway under the number 44 in the Compact Car Division. He especially cherished the quiet joys of life spent with his wife, Beth, sharing laughter and companionship. Some of his favorite moments were relaxing at home together with their dogs, especially their beloved English Cream Golden Retriever, Sherman Tank. He also enjoyed trying his luck while gambling and never missed the opportunity to attend his grandchildren’s sporting events, proudly supporting them from the sidelines. Above all, he treasured the time spent with her, finding comfort and happiness simply being together.

Ron is survived by his wife, Beth whom he married on November 10, 2012, his children, Riley and Ramsey Lab, Kaitilyn (Michael) Sanders, and Felicia Myers, his bonus children, Stacey (Matt) Brant, Haley Shearn, and Ryan (Megan) Shearn; his grandchildren, Ryleigh, Greyson, Abel, Chevy, Gary, Giovanni, Karley (Chase) Kaytrin (Cole), Seth (Emma), Josiah, Leah, Nolan, Jaydon, Alexa and Brody; eight great-grandchildren; Brenda Musick; a sister, Carol Myers; two brothers-in-law, Rick Norris and Greg (Marci) Norris as well as his nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Veselenak; a brother, Kenny Myers, and his father-in-law, Gary Musick.

A celebration of Ron’s life is being planned for a later date. The Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia is handling cremation care.
