Ronald Dale Miller, 82, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2026. Born on February 9, 1944, he was raised in New Philadelphia, Ohio, and graduated from New Philadelphia High School in 1962, where he played basketball and football.

Ronald dedicated approximately 30 years to the Shenango Company in Dover, Ohio, serving two terms as Steelworkers Union President. He later worked for 15 years at Esmet Inc. in Canton, Ohio, before retiring.

A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Ronald was known for his honesty, strong work ethic, and unwavering dedication to his family. He especially enjoyed attending his children’s and granddaughter’s sporting events and was always their biggest supporter.

Ronald found joy in working outdoors, tackling home improvement projects, and keeping his home in immaculate condition. He loved classic cars, especially his beloved 1966 Plymouth Satellite, listening to 1970s music, watching sports, and sharing good meals and conversation with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Velma Miller of Uhrichsville, Ohio. Ronald is survived by his loving wife, Sunday Miller; his sister, Cheryl Burroway of Uhrichsville, Ohio; his children, Michelle (Doug) Harper of Powell, Ohio, and Rodney Miller of Chicago, Illinois; and his cherished granddaughter, Sydney Paris of Hilliard, Ohio.

Ronald will be remembered for his quiet strength, integrity, and the enduring love he gave to his family.
