Robert McKinney Jr, age 75, of Freeport died September 15, 2026 at his home after a period of declining health.

Born in Barberton on May 2, 1951, he was a son of the late Robert and Lillian Marie (Morris) McKinney, Sr.

He is survived by Martha McKinney, whom he married on April 25,1990.

Robert was employed by Babcock & Wilcox, in Barberton for many years before retiring. In retirement, Robert worked a small farm, enjoyed colleting antique guns, hunting, fishing and outdoor sports.

In keeping with Robert’s wishes cremation care has been entrusted to Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home and Crematory. No services are planned at this time.
