Richard Donald Hutchison

Richard D. Hutchison, age 52, of Beach City passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023, in his home after a sudden illness.

He was born on November 19, 1970, in Dover, Ohio to Donald and Sandra (Grove) Hutchison. 

Rick attended New Philadelphia High School.  He was an avid dog lover and founded Sage Kennels where he breeds German Shepherds.  In his free time, he enjoyed working on cars, golfing, and riding his electric bike.

Rick is survived by his daughter, Erika Hutchison, and her fiancé Ryan Moore; mother, Sandra Hutchison; sister, Lori (Chris) Ricklic; brother, Steve (Holly) Hutchison; 4 grandchildren; his companion, Michelle Rotondo; and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Hutchison; sons, Nathan Gribble, and Drew Hutchison; and his wife, Nettie Hutchison.

In keeping with Rick’s wishes, cremation will take place through the care of Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home and Crematory at New Philadelphia. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
