Peggy Stock

Peggy A. Stock, age 87, of Dover and formerly of Cambridge, died peacefully, on Monday, October 2, 2023, while in Park Village Retirement Center at Dover.

Born in Cambridge, Ohio on October 17, 1935, Peggy was the daughter of the late Thomas Bragg and Ronalda Tucker Saltz.

Peggy was a lifelong homemaker who enjoyed cooking, decorating for all holidays, making floral wreath arrangements, and working with and decorating ceramic pieces. She also loved taking her sister-in-law, Anita and daughter, Lisa on adventures to craft shows and shops.

She was a longtime member of Christ Our Light Parish in Cambridge until she relocated to the Tuscarawas Valley. In her early life, Peggy worked in women’s retail clothing and continued to enjoy fashion. She also enjoyed collecting a variety of unique costume jewelry. However, her greatest love was her family.

She is survived by her children, Charles Armbruster of Marion, Ohio, Michael (Nery) Armbruster of Dallas, Texas, and Lisa (David) Youngman of Dover, Ohio; six grandchildren, Jessica (Matt) Smith, Christopher Armbruster, Kevin Armbruster, Raiza Armbruster, Alexa (Drew) Schneiter, and Fox Youngman; seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews complete the family.

In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her step-father, Virgil Saltz; and her siblings, Barbara Huebner, Richard Bragg, and Rosemary Haney.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be led by Father Jeff Coning on Thursday, October 12, 2023, in Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10:00 AM. Private Inurnment will take place in the Pleasant City Cemetery.
