Patricia Ann Boron, age 88, of New Philadelphia, died peacefully, on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at the Lifecare Hospice Truman House.

She was born December 6, 1935, in Canton, Ohio, the daughter of Paul and Katherine Randle.

Patricia was a teacher at Buckeye Career Center for many years. Her passion for education and dedication in the classroom made an everlasting impact on many of her students. She was a faithful servant of God, and her radiant heart touched the lives of every person she met. She was a community leader in Samaritan’s Purse: Operation Christmas Child. On average, she packed nearly 300 shoe boxes each year to help those in need around the world. She was a talented artist. Her favorite hobbies included cooking, sewing, knitting, crocheting, painting, gardening, flower decorating, cake decorating, and stained-glass projects. Some of her fondest memories include polka and square dancing, traveling, and attending numerous sporting and academic events for her children and grandchildren.

Her greatest love in life was her family. Patricia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Patricia is survived by her husband of 68 years, Leo Boron, whom she married January 21, 1956; one son, Matthew (Christy) Boron of New Philadelphia; two daughters, Cathleen (Brad) Misko of Sugarcreek, and Lisa Boron of Riverview, Florida; 9 grandchildren; Joshua (Natalie) Boron, Alea (Jake) Gilmore, Daniel Boron; Zeb (Bethany) Misko, Anya Misko, Zeke Misko, Katya Misko, Sashya (Riley) Patterson, and Zach Misko; 3 great grandchildren, Charlotte, Emerson, and Natalya; one sister, Paula (John) McCartney; and her favorite child, her dog LinZ. She was preceded in death by her brother, Butch (Betty) Randle, and both parents.

The family extends a heartfelt appreciation for the exceptional care given by the nurses and staff at the Truman House.

Geib Funeral Home in New Philadelphia will be serving the family, and no services will be held.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be directed to Ohio's Lifecare Hospice - Truman House, 716 Commercial Avenue SW, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663.
