Norma A. Magnacca, age 94, of Homeworth, Ohio, formerly of Dover, Ohio, passed away on August 10, 2026 in The Orchards of Alliance after a period of declining health.

She was born September 5, 1931 in Alliance, to the late Valentino and Regina (Bortolussi) Pagnucco.

Norma was a 1952 graduate of Mercy Hospital Nursing School. This began a nursing career that span over 30 years with Union Hospital in Dover. On April 11, 1953 she married Louis Magnacca and together they enjoyed a 67-year marriage before his passing in July of 2020.

She was a life-long member of St. Joesph’s Catholic Church in Dover and the Union Hospital Retired Nurses association.

Norma is survived by her daughter, Diane Johansson; son-in-law, Wayne Wallace; three grandchildren; one step-grandchild; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by her son, David Magnacca; daughter, Margaret Wallace; sister, Katherine Maeluk; and brothers, Jerry and Rinaldo Pagnucco.

In keeping with Norma’s wishes a private graveside service was held in Calvary Cemetery in New Philadelphia.
