Neil Edward Fitch

Neil Edward “Ed” Fitch, 61, New Philadelphia, died Saturday morning, February 5, 2005, at his home, surrounded by his family.Born in Canton, Ohio, on August 31, 1943, he was a son of the late George L. and Hazel (Biller) Fitch, and was a l961 graduate of New Philadelphia High School.Ed is survived by his daughters, Kimberlee (Brad) Fisher of New Philadelphia, Melissa (Doug) Bollinger of Columbus, and Shannon (Patrick) Brogan of New Philadelphia; his former wife, Janie Kilchenman of Fort Myers, FL; sisters, Violet Cramer of Canton, Georgia (John) Zion of New Philadelphia, Nancy Miller of Dover, and Marion (Charlie) Hagey of New Philadelphia; brother, Daniel (Becky) Fitch of Mt. Vernon; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda (Lukens) Fitch, who died in 1967.A memorial service to honor Ed’s life will be officiated by Steve Jenkins on Friday afternoon, February 11, 2005, at 3:30 p.m in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home chapel in New Philadelphia.
