Michele L. Gribble

Michele L. Gribble, 53, of Dover, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2025, at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital after a brief battle with cancer.

She was born on April 17, 1972, in Fremont, Ohio, to the late John Albert Mazi, Sr. and Shirley Jean Ehrhart. Michele was a graduate of Stow High School and went on to pursue higher education at Kent State University. For the past 14 years, she worked as a dedicated loan processor for Fairway Independent Mortgage.

Michele met her husband, Mack Gribble, Jr., at Midvale Speedway, and the two were married on November 12, 2011. Throughout their 13 years of marriage, they cherished spending time with their family—especially their beloved grandchildren. Michele never missed a birthday, game, or special milestone in their lives.

She is survived by her loving husband, Mack; her children, Tiffany (Jason) Garrett of Dover, Michael Gribble of Dover, and Samantha Homan of Boardman; and her grandchildren, Braden Crone, Bryson Garrett, Brantley Garrett, Arlie Gribble, Andrew Brewer, and Alexa Homan; and her nephew, Carter Mazi. Michele was also looking forward with great joy to the arrival of her first great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, Michele was preceded in death by her brother, John Mazi, Jr.

A private service will be held, with burial at Ridgecrest Memory Garden in Dover.
