Mary M. Wise

Mary M. Wise, 92, of New Philadelphia, died Tuesday, July 2, 2002, at South Broadway Nursing Home in New Philadelphia following a sudden illness.Born in Pittsburgh on October 6, 1909, she was a member of Sacred Heart Church in New Philadelphia and loved animals.Mary was preceded in death by her father and mother, Mary Hopkins Friscic, her step-father, Mr. Grunik, her first husband, Louis F. Wise and her second husband, George S. Wise. A brother and sister also preceded her in death.She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Helen Incarnato and Maxine E. Wise, both of New Philadelphia and many nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held Friday, July 5, 2002, at 10:30 a.m. at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home in New Philadelphia with Msgr. George J. Schlegel officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in New Philadelphia. Visitation will be held Friday, July 5, 2002, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Sacred Heart Church, 139 Third Street NE, New Philadelphia, OH, 44663.
