Mary Lou Beamer

Mary Lou Beamer, age 82, of New Philadelphia, passed away peacefully at the Hennis Care Centre in Dover following a period of declining health. She was born in Dover, Ohio, on November 2, 1943, to the late William Russell Beamer and Rhoda Luella (Campbell) Beamer.

Mary was a graduate of Midvale High School. She worked at the former Daniels and T G & Y stores before beginning a 27-year career as a floral designer with Baker Florist, from which she later retired. Creative and hardworking, Mary was known for her artistic touch and dedication to her craft.

She enjoyed spending time at flea markets and livestock auctions with her late brother, Don Beamer. Mary was also a talented painter, loved to crochet, took pride in tending to her flower garden, and volunteered regularly at the Zoar Greenhouse.

Her family includes her sister-in-law, Sharon (Dan) Ryan; and nieces and nephews Amy (Perry) Phelps, Joe (Julie) Tinnirello, Chris (Jim) Hartsock, and Dave Beamer. She is also survived by the families of her late siblings, Ellen (Leroy) Yost and Jane (Fred) Tinnirello, along with numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Ellen, Jane, and Don.
