Mary Anna Lindberg, 85, a long time resident of Dover, Ohio, died Tuesday evening at Union Hospital following a brief illness.A daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Renno Mansion, Mary was born in Wallerfangen, Germany, September 11, 1920, and emigrated to the United States in 1925.She retired in 1995 from the United Way Foundation where she worked as a foster grandmother.Mary was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dover and will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who devoted her life to her family.She is survived by daughters, Linda Hartke, of Dover and Janice Cheslock of New Philadelphia; a sister, Elizabeth Schimantowski, of Lavonia, Michigan; granddaughters, Diane (Brian) White, of Medina and Jennifer Gentry of Dover; three great grandsons, Cory and Jason White and Jeremy Gentry; and numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Lindberg, in 1967; two brothers, Joseph “Tony” and Siegfried Mansion; and two sisters, Hedwig Mansion Brandt and Anna Maria “Enchin” Mansion.Visitation will be Sunday November 27, 2005 from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Geib Funeral Center at Dover with a Christian wake service at 4:45p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. William Arnold, Monday, November 28, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph Church. Burial will be beside her husband at Dover Burial Park. A reception will follow in the Geib Funeral Center hospitality room.Memorial contributions in Mary’s memory may be made to the St. Joseph Family Life Ctr. Building fund. 613 N.
