Mary Alice Strazisar

Mary Alice Strazisar, 85, of Canton, O. died Saturday, November 26, 2005 in her home .Born August 9, 1920, at Dover, she was the daughter of the late Ignatius F. and Mamie Gaglione Rini. After graduating from Dover High School in 1939 she married her late husband Edward Strazisar. Mary Alice was employed by the former Warner & Swasey Company until her retirement. A member of St Michaels Catholic Church of Canton Mary Alice was also a member of numerous choirs in Stark and Tuscarawas County, a member of the Massillon Women’s Club and was a volunteer at Mercy Medical Center in Canton.Mary Alice is survived by her son John Strazisar of Canton, four brothers, Martin (Edith) Rini, Marion Rini, Tony (Alice) Rini of Dover and Frank (Georgia) Rini of Canton; two sisters, Laura Dattilo of Pittsburgh Pa. and Lena Eaton of Milwaukee, Wi., and one sister-in-law, Carol Rini Stiers of CantonIn addition to her parents and her husband she was preceded in death by her son James Joseph Strazisar and one brother Fred Strazisar.Visitation will be Monday November 28, 2005 from 6 to 8 p.m. with a Christian Wake Service at 8 p.m. in the Geib Funeral Center at 5600 North Wooster Avenue Dover. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in St Josephs Catholic Church at Dover, with Father William Arnold officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery at New Philadelphia.
