Martin Lee Childs, 72, of Dover passed away at The Inn at Northwood Village on July 14, 2026.

Born in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, on June 7, 1954, Marty was the son of the late Richard Hurshal and Twila Fayette (Buchanan) Childs.

After graduating from high school, Marty had a successful career in the HVAC industry.

He is survived by one son, one grandson, several siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Cremation care has been entrusted to the Geib Funeral Center at Dover.
