Mark Karl

January 20, 1959 — November 22, 2021

Mark Karl, 62, of New Philadelphia went to be home with his Lord, peacefully in his sleep early Monday, November 22, 2021.

Born January 20, 1959, in Tuscarawas County, Ohio. Mark was the son of Robert L. Karl and the late Gena (Comignaghi) Karl. A 1977 graduate of Tuscarawas Central Catholic High School and Buckeye Career Center. Mark was employed with Gradall Industries Inc. prior to his retirement in 2017.

On April 19, 1986, he married the love of his life, Rhonda K. Crescio; together they shared 35 wonderful life-filled years. Mark enjoyed pampering and providing for his “girls” Rhonda and Amanda. Mark will be long remembered as a Christ-like, loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Mark loved spending time with his family and friends going to the lake and on family vacations. Mark loved his lawn, boating, trucks, and working with his hands. During his younger years Mark spent time on his uncle’s farm where he learned the value and reward of hard work.

Mark was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where he enjoyed listening to the Gospel of Jesus Christ be preached. Mark believed in Jesus Christ for salvation. Mark rested in this fact for many years, as a born-again believer. He did everything he could to preach and share this gospel with his family, friends, and acquaintances out of love for their eternal security. Mark’s life was a testimony of God’s strength, grace, and love for mankind. Mark implores anyone with questions regarding eternal salvation to call Calvary Baptist Church.
