Madge Hines

Madge Hines, 85, of New Philadelphia, died Monday, October 3, 2005 at Hennis Care & Retirement Centre in Dover.A daughter of the late Oat and Florice (Winemiller) Meadows, Madge was born October 20, 1919 in Perkins, West Virginia.She was retired from the former Puritan Laundry in New Philadelphia.She is survived by two sons, Ronald (Shirley) Hines, Sr. of New Philadelphia and Donald (Deb) Hines of New Philadelphia; four grandchildren, Ronnie (Kim) Hines, Jr. of Strasburg, Timothy (Kim) Hines of Bolivar, Jennifer Hines of Reno, Nevada and Joe Hines of New Philadelphia; two step-grandchildren, Susie (Steve) Stein of Dover and Rodney Davidson of Columbus, Ohio; one great granddaughter, Lauren Hines of Strasburg; and one step-great grandson, Steven Stein of Dover.Madge was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Glenn W. Hines, whom she married September 28, 1942, and one sister.In keeping with Madge’s wishes, there will be no services and cremation will be conducted by the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory in New Philadelphia.Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 201-A West Ohio Avenue, Dover, OH 44622 and/or the Alzheimers Association, 4815 Munson Street, Canton, OH 44718.
