Lori Ann Kelley, 53, of New Philadelphia, passed away peacefully in Aultman Compassionate Care in Canton on October 20, 2022 following a battle with cancer.
Born in Dover on April 23, 1969, she was the daughter of Sandra Kay Beckley of New Philadelphia and the late Orlo Beckley, twin sister of Lisa Finton and sister of Jeff Beckley.
After graduating from New Philadelphia High School in 1987, she married her husband, Steve Kelley, on August 4, 1990. Together, they were blessed with the birth of their children, Kaylee and Brennon.
Lori worked with Group 31, Inc. as a customer service representative. Prior to that, she worked for a doctor’s office, Richard’s Medical, and State Farm. Wherever Lori worked, she was extremely dedicated, and loved by all.
Above all, she loved being a mom and “Nana” to her 4-year-old grandson, Isaac. Her kids and Isaac were everything to her. They never went without. Just mention a need and packages would arrive in days from some internet shopping site. Seeing them happy brought her the greatest joy.
She will be deeply missed by her husband, Steve; children, Kaylee (Patrick) Ammar of North Ridgeville and Brennon Kelley of New Philadelphia; her grandson, Isaac and future granddaughter; her twin sister, Lisa (Charlie) Finton of New Philadelphia; brother, Jeff Beckley of New Philadelphia; her mother, Sandy Beckley of New Philadelphia; and her father and mother-in-law, Joe and Jane Kelley of New Philadelphia.
Visitation will be held in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory on Monday, October 24 from 4 to 7 p.m. A service celebrating Lori’s life will be held in NewPointe Community Church on Tuesday, October 25 beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Sherrodsville Memorial Park in Sherrodsville.
Memorial contributions in Lori’s memory may be directed to The Aultman Foundation: www.AultmanFoundation.org.
