Loren "Blue" Virgil Lindon

Loren V. “Blue” Lindon, 71, of Lock Seventeen, passed away July 22, 2023 in Community Hospice Truman House at New Philadelphia, following a long battle with kidney and heart disease.

Born December 26, 1951 in Dennison, Loren was the son of the late Warren Virgil and Leona Marie (Mahaffey) Lindon.

Loren’s professional career began at Edwards Sawmill, then was employed with Belden Brick. Ultimately, he worked for more than 40 years with the former Stone Container.

Loren loved to 4-wheel, cut firewood and work on vehicles. He also went to pow-wows, had a large movie collection, and enjoyed swapping anything from a tool to a vehicle.
