Linda L. Risher

Linda Lee Risher, 72, of Uhrichsville, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2025 at Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on March 22, 1953, in Dover, Ohio, to the late Robert Lee Gribble and Norma Jean Medley Gribble.

A New Philadelphia High School graduate, Linda's lifelong passion for music led her to become a member of the local band Country Spice, which graced stages across the community. Her professional life began at Lauren Manufacturing, but after marrying Fred Risher, they collaboratively established and ran Twin City Pawn and Gun Shop in Uhrichsville.

Family was the unwavering center of Linda’s world. She especially cherished every moment with her grandson, RJ, whether they were baking his favorite treats or sharing quiet moments at services at Rush Church of the Nazarene. Her profound faith and boundless love were truly guiding lights, illuminating the lives of all who knew her.

Linda is survived by her devoted husband, Fred, and her beloved sons: Ryan (Sarah) Ferguson, Bill Ferguson, Tom (Shannon) Ferguson, and Ben (Jen) Ferguson. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: RJ, McKenzie, Tyson, Brittany, Tiffany, Melissa, Jordan, Matthew, Michael, and Jacob. She is further survived by her sister Carol Beule, half-sister Sherry Alveraz, and half-brother George Gribble; her stepchildren: Mike Risher, Rick Risher, Susan Monticelli, and Karen Chambers; her best friend Sharon Doane; and numerous other grandchildren and extended family members. Linda was preceded in death by her grandson, Cameron.

Following cremation, a private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date with family members.
