Lenora R. White

Lenora R. White, 61, of New Philadelphia, died unexpectedly at her residence. Born May 22, l942, in Liberal, Kansas, she was the adopted daughter of Doris Whisnant and Elmer Chambliss. A long-time resident of Amarillo, Texas, she was a skilled seamstress, often creating clothing for her family, and she greatly enjoyed gospel music.Lenora is survived by her daughter, Theresa (Andy) Branscum of Amarillo, TX; her son, Dwayne (Barb) White of New Philadelphia; grandchildren, John Richardson, Deborah, David, and Daniel White; Joshua and Christopher Branscum; and numerous sisters and brothers including a sister, Faith, of Amarillo, TX.She was preceded in death by a son, Lynn Garman, an infant son, and a sister, Elenora.Services will be held for Lenora at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Amarillo, TX, at a later date.
