Larry L. Rosenberry, 86, of Dennison, passed away peacefully into Heaven, with his family by his side on November 15, 2025, following a period of declining health.
Born October 17, 1939, he was the son of the late Oscar and Adaline (McConnell) Rosenberry and a 1958 graduate of the former Dennison High School. After graduation, he went on to honorably serve his country in the United States Army. A proud veteran, Larry could always be seen wearing his veterans hat and his flag shirts and displaying the American Flag at his home.
On June 14, 1959, Larry married the love of his life and his soulmate, Nancy L. (Roseberry) Rosenberry, (Yes, that is spelled correctly), who lovingly cared for him with strength and dignity as his health declined.
Larry was very patriotic and loved his country and community. Being civic minded, he had served as a past President of the Claymont Jaycees and was instrumental in the development of Jaycee Village at Uhrichsville and was voted “Citizen of the Year” by the Twin City Chamber of Commerce. His other endeavors included serving as Past President and Band Parent for the Claymont Marching 100 and as former Director and Committee member for the National Clay Week Festival for a number of years. Larry was a longtime member of the Roxford Global Methodist Church at Dennison where he also served as a Sunday School Teacher.
To Larry, family was everything. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his four children, William L. (Marsha) Rosenberry, Michael L. Rosenberry, Nanette (Jeff) Hill and Kelley Rosenberry; his grandchildren, Michael A. Rosenberry, Adeline Hill (Kevin Parsons), Kaylie (Scott) Espenschied, Allison Chapman and Hillary (Bryant) Smith; great grandchildren, Bentlie Hill, Henley and Holden Espenschied, Abraham L.
