Kristen Goss

Kristen Kay Morgan Goss, age 78, of New Philadelphia, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, in Riverside Manor at Newcomerstown following a period of declining health.

Born in Coshocton, Ohio on July 17, 1947 she was a daughter of the late Robert and Bonnie (Reamer) Morgan, Sr. She was a 1965 graduate of Newcomerstown High School.

She was an owner of Morgan’s Pharmacy in Newcomerstown for many years before her retirement. In her free-time, Kristen was an avid collector of many different items. She loved to take photos during all the travels that she and Robert enjoyed together.

She was a fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and spent many days traveling around the country following her beloved Buckeyes.

Kristen is survived by her children, John (Jill) Art of Newcomerstown, Ernie (Tammy) Art of West Lafayette, step-son, Scott (Winona) Goss of Port Washington; step-daughter, Shana (Christian) Haas of Belville, Ohio; grandchildren, Jonathan Art, Jarrett (Racheal Forcier – fiancée) Art, Dennelle (Todd) Goff, Leigha (Joshua) Rock, Shane Art, Julie (Justin) Berg, John (Hannah) Heinbuch, Willow Goss, Gunner Goss, Zachery (Jessica Devney -fiancée) Carman, Hailee Carman, Jon Carman, Victoria Haas, and Ember Gerhart; sister-in-law, Mary Morgan; and beloved dog, Scarlett.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Robert Goss who passed away in September of 2021, grandson, Joshua Art; and brother, Robert “Rusty” Morgan.

The family will greet friends on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home and Crematory at New Philadelphia. A service honoring Kristen’s life will be led by Pastor Bill Eckert beginning at 12:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.
