Joyce Boros

Joyce A. Boros, age 76, of New Philadelphia, passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 in Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital at Canton.

A daughter of the late James Wright and Edith (Harmon) Delp, Joyce was born on April 21, 1949 at Cleveland, Ohio.

Joyce loved to go to the Senior Center, Tuscora Park, and the Tuscarawas County Fair. She also enjoyed watching Walker Texas Ranger on television. She also enjoyed crafting. She could often be found coloring of making different types of crafts.

She is survived by her daughter, Joy Lynn Hall of New Philadelphia; son, Brian (Amy) Hall of Michigan; grandchildren, Alex and Mandy Hall; great-granddaughter, Nova; niece, Michelle; and nephews, Matthew and David Wright.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, husband, George J. Boros, Jr.; and brother, Jack (Francine) Wright.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A funeral service celebrating Joyce’s life will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Chris Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow in East Avenue Cemetery.
