John L. Searle

John L. Searle, 66, of Uhrichsville, died Sunday, January 14, 2007 in Akron General Medical Center at Akron following an extended illness.A son of the late Ralph and Alice (Lewis) Searle, John was born October 30, 1940 in Sharon, Pennsylvania.He was a graduate of Sharon High School in Sharon, Pennsylvania. John attended Penn State University where he received a master’s degree in Engineering. He also registered several electronic patents. John was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Sharon, Pennsylvania.John is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Kathy Searle of Gnadenhutten.In keeping with John’s wishes, there will be no visitation observed and cremation will take place in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Oakwood Cemetery at Sharon, Pennsylvania.
