John Krocker

John J. Krocker, age 58, of Dover, died peacefully, Wednesday, March 15, 2023, in Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital after a period of declining health.

Born in Dover, Ohio on February 20, 1965, John was the son of the late John and Dorothy (Egler) Krocker.

John was a “car guy” all his life, working as an auto detailer and watching NASCAR.  He always loved to build bonfires at his parents’ house.  He was also an animal lover and was known to find homes for orphan pets.

He is survived by his long-time companion, Connie Burkhart; sisters, Kathy (David) Chek and Dianne (Dale) Fishel; two nieces; two nephews; 2 great-nieces; and two great-nephews.

John was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation care has been entrusted to Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home and Crematory.  An inurnment will be held at a later date at Calvary Cemetery in New Philadelphia.
