John F. Smith

John F. Smith, 79, of Uhrichsville passed away peacefully on March 9th with family by his side. As a young man, John played football, baseball, and ran track. Later, he served in the Air Force and became a welder for AMKO. John will be missed by his ex-wife Barbara and their 3 children Thomas (Erin) Smith, Carole Lynn (Robert) Courtwright, Amy (Brian) Heston. His grandchildren, Natalie and Dean Smith and Madee and Travis Heston will miss Grandpa too.
John was preceded in death by his parents Ray Smith and Myrtle Faniola. He was survived by his siblings Shirley, Beverly, Carole, Ray, Carl, Elva, Edward and their spouses.
There will be a celebration of John’s life this summer.
