John E. Peters

John E. Peters, 63, of Baltic and formerly of Strasburg, passed away Monday, November 16, 2009 at Oak Pointe Nursing Home at Baltic. God granted John a peaceful passing from this life following a lengthy illness.A son of the late Foster and Irene (Laubscher) Peters, John was born April 26, 1946 at Meadville, Ohio.He is survived by a daughter, Shelly Dosch of Canal Winchester, Ohio, two granddaughters, Katelyn and Emma; a sister, Connie (John) Ecenbarger of Strasburg; a brother, Fred (Judy) Peters of Louisville, Ohio; numerous cousins and other extended family and friends.In keeping with John’s wishes, his body has been donated to the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine for medical research and education.
