Jeanne L Chaney

Jeanne L. Chaney, 82, of New Philadelphia, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2009 in the home of her caregivers, Chris and Marsha Smith.A daughter of the late Homer and Naomi (Reaves) Chaney, Jeanne was born on February 10, 1926 at Harrison County, Ohio.She was a 1945 graduate of New Philadelphia High School and was formerly employed at Miller Studio at New Philadelphia. Jeanne was a member of the First United Methodist Church at New Philadelphia.Jeanne enjoyed her daily walks as well as the companionship of the family dogs.Friends may call on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A graveside service will be held a 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 8, 2009 in Greenmont Union Cemetery at Freeport with Rev.
