Jeanna Mae Edie, age 70, of Zoarville, died peacefully, Friday, March 15, 2024, following a period of declining health.

She was a 1972 graduate of Tusky Valley High School and soon after married John Edie on March 17, 1973. Together the couple raised three children and shared in 46 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2019.

Jeanna served a handful of years as a Medical Biller with Ohio Billing and also spent a number of years as an independent tax preparer. However, Jeanna’s life revolved around her family. She loved attending the events and activities of her children and grandchildren and will long be remembered for her famous no-bake cookies and Chex Mix. In her free time, Jeanna enjoyed playing music, was an accomplished Accordion player, who also served many years as a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Mineral City American Legion, and enjoyed traveling.

In addition to her parents and husband, Jeanna was preceded in death by a brother, William Tomblin.
