Jacquelin B. Ferrell, age 83 of New Philadelphia, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2026, surrounded by her family after a period of declining health.

She was born on March 24, 1943, in Dover to the late G. Craig and Lulu (Myers) Kennedy.

Jacque was a beautiful person inside and out, and had a deep love for people. She always loved visiting and meeting new people in the area. She also loved to care for animals, especially her companion dog, Shadow. Her greatest joy, however, was family. She devoted herself to caring for family and making each moment special with the people she loved. Family was truly everything to her.

She is survived her daughters, Shawnalee Snyder of New Philadelphia, Marti (Brian) Higbee of Omaha, Nebraska, and Misha Beam of Cincinnati; grandchildren, Amber (Robert McFarland) Wade, Talisha LaRue, Zachary Grasselli, Tabatha Grasselli, and Brandon Beam; great-grandchildren, D’Angelo, Armaun, Skai, Kyler, Marcella, Aubrey, Jadyn, Avery, and Grayson; and brother, Gary (Patti) Kennedy.

Jacque was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Janice Chorost.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation care has been entrusted to the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home and Crematory. No services are planned at this time.
