Jackie Wolfe, Sr.

Jackie L. Wolfe, Sr., age 85, of Gallion, OH and formerly of New Philadelphia, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2026, in his residence after a period of declining health.

Born in his family home in New Philadelphia on February 28, 1941, Jack was a son of the late Edward and Agnes (Warner) Wolfe.

Jack was a hard worker all of his life. He owned and operated Wolfe’s Mobile Home Services for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family whenever possible. In his free-time he enjoyed woodworking, hunting, bowling, and home DIY projects.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, the former Darlene Hidey, whom he married on May 18, 1959; his children, Janice (Jon) Howard of New Philadelphia, and Jack (Autumn) Wolfe, Jr. of Galion; grandchildren, Anne (Steve) Kohler, Timmy (Brandi) Deardorff, Larissa (Jay) Jenkins, Janelle Blose, Jacqueline Hildebrand, Sierra (Quintan) Kocher, Jackie Lee (Morgan) Wolfe III, and Calix Wolfe; great-grandchildren, Courtney, Stephanie, Easton, Katie, Taylor, Isabella, Nolan, Bradley, Jenson, Josie, Landen, Steven, Joseph, Qarsten, Qendrix, Jackie IV, Lorelai, and Holden; and great-great-grandchild, Corbin.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Deborah Conklin; and brother, Marion Eugene Wolfe.

A graveside service is planned for family, where he will be laid to rest beside his daughter in Evergreen Cemetery in New Philadelphia.
