Jack David Sattoria, age 89, of New Philadelphia, died peacefully on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, in Park Village Southside, while under the care of Traditions Hospice.

Born on March 5, 1937, in Uhrichsville, Ohio, Jack was the son of the late Americo and Carmella Visintainer Sattoria.

He was a graduate of the former Uhrichsville High School and spent 30 years with the State of Ohio as a Land Surveyor.

He enjoyed the camaraderie and friendships he developed as a member of the New Philadelphia B.P.O.E #510 Elks Lodge and the American Italian Club at Dennison. In his free time, he enjoyed duck hunting with his labs, boating, biking, and golfing.

He is survived by his daughter, Alicia (Bryan) Myers of Westerville, his grandson, Michael A. Tishkoff; and his former wife and dear friend, Stephanie Sattoria of Westerville; a niece, Robbi J. Robson of New Philadelphia, and a great-nephew, Brandon Robson of Dover.

In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by a sister, Maxine Edwards.

In honoring Jack’s wishes, there will be no public services. Cremation care has been handled by the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia.
