Helen Virginia Nicora

Helen Virginia Nicora, 77, Dennison, died Friday, November 14, 2003, at Union Hospital in Dover.Born in Monaville, West Virginia on December 1, 1925, Helen was a daughter of the late Justin and Rachel Trifa Thomas.Helen attended the First Baptist Church in New Philadelphia. She was a homemaker and a draftsman for the United Telephone Company. She is survived by her daughter Debbie (Roger) Grimmett with whom she resided; five grandchildren, Eric and Jason Naylor, Misti (Jeff) Grimmett Reisz, Adam and Timothy Grimmett; a sister, Mary Popp and a brother-in-law, John Ghindia, both of Warren, OH; two nephews, Dennis Ghindia and Eugene (Debbie) Ghindia; and three great-nieces, Rachael, Samantha, and Elizabeth Ghindia.Helen was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Irene Ghindia, and a brother-in-law, John Popp.Services to celebrate Helen’s life will be conducted by her son-in-law, Roger Grimmett, on Monday, November 17, 2003 at 3:00 PM in the Geib Funeral Home Chapel. A reception in the Geib Family Center will follow the service. Friends may call on the family prior to the service, beginning at 1:30 PM. Burial will be at Pineview Cemetery in Warren, Ohio on Tuesday, November 18, 2003.
