Helen Harrison

Helen Harrison, age 60, of New Philadelphia, died unexpectedly Thursday, April 30, 2026, in New York while visiting her family.

Born in Canton, Ohio on June 29, 1965, to the late Frank and Jacqueline Bline Cernava.

For many years Helen was employed by Walmart at New Philadelphia.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Harrison and their son, Matthew (Shelly) Harrison; her siblings and many nieces and nephews

In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by a brother, Mike Cernava.

Burial in the St. Mary of Morges Cemetery in Waynesburg will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 with Father David Bline officiating. Family and friends will celebrate Helen’s life by gathering for pizza and a beverage following the service.
