Helen Brammer

Helen E. Brammer, 74, of Carrollton, passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital.

Born in Canton on July 11, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Catherine (Hackathorn) Becher.

Helen was a loving neighbor and friend. Her love language was giving gifts of baked goods to her friends and neighbors. Her favorite place to be was in the kitchen cooking with family. She loved to spoil her family with sewing gifts, especially her handmade napkins. She enjoyed gardening and reading a good book every evening. However, her greatest joy was spending time with family and visiting with friends.

She is survived by her children, Charley (Denise) Herrington of Harlem Springs, Ohio, Larry Neal Herrington of Dover, and Jessie (James) Lawrence of Dover; grandchildren, Mikey, Nikki, Joey, Gunner, Brooklyn, Devlin, Scarlett, and Maeve; many great-grandchildren; siblings, Cathy Wade, Susie Minor, Steve Becher, Jean Proudfoot, and Mary Ellen Becknell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael Becher and Wendell Becher.

In keeping with Helen’s wishes, cremation care has been entrusted to the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home and Crematory. A celebration of Helen’s life will be held at a later date.
