Helen “Beth” Sites

Helen E. “Beth” Sites, 51, of New Philadelphia passed away in Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital on October 13, 2020.

Born in Dover on September 4, 1969, she was the daughter of the late William Kenneth and Winnona Ann (Stull) Smitley.

Beth loved spending time with her family and especially enjoyed acting as a gracious hostess at her family cook-outs.

She is survived by her daughter, Dani (Kayla) Smitley of Wayland; step-daughters, Valerie (Clint) Burrow and Donielle (fiancé, Matt Maurer) Sites of Dover; a step-son, Derek Sites of California; siblings, Tim (Nancy Diehl) Smitley, Candice Smitley, Kim (Barb) Smitley, Kenny Smitley, Kathy (Tim) Scopel; step-siblings, Clifford (Cindy) Smitley, Bill Smitley, and Donna Coen; and her cousin who was like a sister, Brenda (John) McNutt; brother-in-law, Melvin (Jackie) Myers; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and her two furry felines, Niko and Gizzy.

In addition to her parents, Beth was preceded in passing by her husband, Donnie Sites in 2019.

In keeping with her wishes, Beth will be cared for through Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory.
