Heidi J. Hollingsworth, 53, of Dover, passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 2, 2023 at Community Hospice Truman House at New Philadelphia, following a lengthy illness.

Born at Ashland, Heidi was the daughter of Samuel Dwight and Charlotte Jane (Hammond) Hollingsworth and had formerly worked as a sawyer for the California Conservation Corps.

Heidi will be remembered as being extremely athletic and a creative person with a passion for music. She also possessed a vibrant faith and steadfast love for her Savior.

In addition to her parents, Heidi is survived by three children; Logan Hollingsworth-Hull, Lincoln Hull, and Charlotte Hull; four brothers and their spouses, John (Carol) Hollingsworth of Salem, Oregon, Peter (Christy) Hollingsworth of New Hope, Pennsylvania, Stephen (Dawn) Hollingsworth of West Carrollton, Ohio, and Jared (James Enman) Hollingsworth of Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania and several nieces and nephews.

Heidi was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Rev. Melvin and Virginia Hollingsworth and her maternal grandparents, Robert, and Jane Hammond.

In keeping with her wishes, Heidi is to be cremated through the care of the Geib Funeral Center at Dover. Heidi’s brother, Pastor John Hollingsworth will officiate a worship service celebrating Heidi’s life at the Winfield Community Church on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 1:30 PM.

The family requests that memorial contributions be directed to Community Hospice-Truman House, 716 Commercial Avenue SW, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663.
