Gurtaleen Delma Flinn

Gurtaleen Delma Flinn, 73, of New Philadelphia, died Tuesday, November 27, 2007 in Mercy Medical Center at Canton following a courageous battle with cancer.A daughter of the late James and Elizabeth (Williams) Morris, Gurt was born March 12, 1934 at Wellsburg, West Virginia.On January 9, 1959, Gurt married Ira E. Flinn who survives. Also surviving are her children, Michelle (Shawn) McCallin of Louisville, Ohio, Michael Flinn and his fiancée Leslie Bergdorff of Layfayette, Tennessee, Lonnie (Laraine) Flinn of Canton and Jerry (Barb) Flinn of New Philadelphia, 10 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a brother Robert “Sonny” Morris of Youngstown, Ohio.Family and friends may call on Thursday, November 29, 2007 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia and again one hour prior to the service on Friday. A funeral service celebrating Gurt’s life will be held on Friday, November 30, 2007 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Hugh Berry officiating.
