Glen D. Mast

Glen D. Mast, age 79, of Newcomerstown, died peacefully, Wednesday, January 21, 2026, following a period of declining health.

Born in Barrs Mills, on December 29, 1946, Glen was a son of the late Corsan Mast and Mary Ellen and Joseph McClain.

He was a 47-year employee of Union Hospital at Dover where he worked as a member of the Maintenance Department.

He is survived by his daughters, Glenda Mast, Tina (Eric) Tope all of New Philadelphia and Amy Baker of Newcomerstown; his companion, Edwina Mitcham; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Traditions Hospice and his nurse Stacey for their excellent and compassionate care for the past year.

In honoring Glen’s wishes, there will be no public services. Cremation care has been conducted by the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia.
