Georgia Louise Faber

Georgia Faber, of New Philadelphia, died Sunday, February 22, 2004, at Morningview Care Center. She was 76.A daughter of the late Ben F. and Irene Keyser Goodrich, Georgia was born April 2, 1927, in St. Clairsville, and attended Jewett High School.A homemaker, Georgia had been employed at Danner Press and Diebold in Canton, and by National Can and Crown in Massillon. She was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church in New Philadelphia, AARP, and AAA.Georgia is survived by her husband, Kenneth, whom she married January 18, 1969; four step-children, Steve Faber, Stephanie Davis, Patty Stoner, and Pam Jones; ten step-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren, and two on-the-way; three sisters; and four brothers. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.Visitation will be Wednesday, February 25, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory in New Philadelphia. Graveside services will be conducted by Pastor James Taggart on Thursday, February 26, at 11:00 am at the Fairview Cemetery in Rumley Township.
