Gary L. Beamer

Gary L. Beamer, 74, of New Philadelphia, passed away in New Dawn Rehab Center at Dover on February 26, 2023 following a short illness.

Born in Dover on July 14, 1948, he was the son of the late John Donald and Sarah Helen (Smith) Beamer.

After graduating from Tuscarawas-Warwick High School in 1966, he continued his formal education at Kent State Tuscarawas where he obtained his degree in electrical engineering. He was employed as a prototype analyst by the Timken Research Co. for 22 years prior to his retirement in July of 2010.

Gary loved to spend time at the Tusky VFW where he socialized and drank beer with his buddies and loved to fry steaks there, too. Additionally, he enjoyed golfing, gardening, and smoking pot.

Gary married his wife of 51 years, the former Gwendolyn S. Pasquinelli. Together, they were blessed with the birth of their three daughters, Jennifer Fawcett, Mandi (Jenny) Beamer, and Kayla (Shellie) Beamer; two granddaughters, Maxine (Matt) Jordan and Esther Fawcett; his sister, Shirley Smith; and his fur baby, Ash.

In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in passing by his son-in-law, Todd Fawcett in 2019.
