Frank David Mascitti

Frank D. Mascitti, 64, of New Philadelphia, died Tuesday, November 25, 2008 in Schoenbrunn Health Care at New Philadelphia.A son of the late Pat and Ann (Bushta) Mascitti, Frank was born February 17, 1944 at Canton.Frank graduated from Perry High School at Massillon and he retired in 2002 from Berner Trucking at Dover.He had a passion for automobiles. Frank enjoyed racing and owned a 1955 Nomad. He also enjoyed bowling in his younger years.He is survived by his sons, Ron Mascitti of Florida, Gary (Tammy) McLaughlin of New Philadelphia and Larry (Lori) McLaughlin of Massillon; two granddaughters, Emily McLaughlin and Alyssia Kandel and a sister, Carol Hoops of Barnesville.Frank was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Patty Allabach.Friends may call on Friday, November 28, 2008 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A funeral service celebrating Frank’s life will follow in the Linn-Hert-Geib Chapel with Monsignor George Schlegel officiating.
