He was an avid hunter who enjoyed annual trips out west with friends. Frank also enjoyed golfing and following Cleveland sports and The Ohio State Buckeyes. He rarely missed Wednesday and Saturday coffee with his friends at Woodland Outdoors. Frank was a member of the New Philadelphia Elks Lodge B.P.O.E. 510 and a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church in New Philadelphia.
Frank is survived by his children, Brittni Bair, Michael Bair, and Susan Bair, all of New Philadelphia; his grandchildren, Breanna Wilson of Minerva, Sarah Bair of Dennison, and Corey Bair of New Philadelphia; his sisters, Ginger Doane of Tippecanoe and Patricia Pilkington of Cleveland; as well as his nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Jane Bair, and his brother, Ted Bair.
The family will greet guests on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, from noon to 1 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in New Philadelphia, where Pastor Ryan Cockrill will lead a service celebrating Frank’s life beginning at 1 p.m. Burial alongside his wife will take place in East Avenue Cemetery in New Philadelphia.
